weekend shots

This weekend seemed to be when fall leaves were beginning to peak.

Friday night we were in bed by nine.

Early day Saturday with some much needed yoga.

Followed by an afternoon woods walk with KatieBug.

Bonfire Saturday night with friends and a little mud.

Sunday felt long but needed.  

We hung my birthday hammock.

I am in love.

The Chief.  He says nothing.

Whilst trotting around Bellbuckle antique stores, I began noticing just how many mannequin heads were about.  I began making photographical notes as I walked around.  Some having great personality, some wore blank faces.  Some were painted and some were colored otherwise.  Some were a tad more lifelike than others.  I've included a song to listen to while you look.

I'm pretty sure I am, or was, a flower child.  

I love plants and flowers and all that goes along with. 

Starting from seed, saving from the dumpster, separating, harvesting, drying, eating.

My world must be filled with green and blooms. 

I said to Shaun this morning, "I can't believe we haven't had a hard frost yet".

Meaning I still have flowers and herbs on my porch steps.

And under the porch and in the garden.
