I feel like this post deserves a bit of a British accent.  I am a BBC nut.  I actually look up BBC at the library and rent BBC shows.  I love them.  I think it may be a heritage thing.  Something deep within that I feel a connection with.  At the same time, I have several shows that peak my interest and tickle my heart strings at the mere sound of the show's beginning.  My most favorite, as of late, is The Great British Baking Show.  I picked up season four after work yesterday and as soon as I got home and got to work in my kitchen the show came on  and my stress of the day immediately melted away.  This isn't the first show that melts my nerves away.  I have a few and there theme songs are as follows...

Favorites To Watch

Oh y'all... I have put together a list of shows and movies that I only watch this time of year.  Me and some of these shows go back a really... really long way.  Most of them really.  The Benji Christmas story has been a fave since I was very small.  The Keeping Up Appearances Christmas episode is a favorite, being a British comedy that still comes on channel 8 at 8PM on Saturday nights.  I watched it this morning while cooking breakfast.  Will & Grace have I think three Christmas episodes in all their seasons.  My favorite is when Jack is creating a window display for Barney's New York and Grace steps in to help.  A Christmas Carol starring Patrick Stewart is my favorite version other than the original.  He has such a strong character and plays the role to a tea.

Watchin the Tube

HI there!  Today I thought I’d break out and share some of my favorite television programs with you!  I’m not one of those gals who sits on the couch all the time, but I do allow myself to indulge in a few shows on a couple of different nights of the week.  I’m not one to watch cop shows that give the sickos of the world new ideas or a big nature show fan cause I really don’t like to see the lion catch and eat his prey, I know it’s happening…. I just don’t want to see it.  A good dancing show or a funny comedy I can keep up with, on the other hand, I am very fond of! 

Here’s my Monday through Wednesday line-up.  These are the ones I will actually sit down and watch and really hate if I miss.  On the other four nights of the week I am doing other things besides watching TV.  Unless Shaun settles the remote on Magnum PI on one of the extra channels.  I like the tropical scenery and Tom Selleck’s shorty shorts. J

Monday – DWTS, Channel 2 at 7:00, ARS, Channel 8 in the off season at 7:00

Tuesday – New Girl at 8:00 and The Mindy Project at 8:30 both on Fox

Wednesday – Nashville on Channel 2 at 9:00

Sometimes it’s hard to find someone who watches the same shows to chat about them.  Besides Shaun and I already know what he thinks cause he watched it with me.  So if you are looking for something new to watch check them out and hit me up!
