I came across this book the other day while looking up books for miniatures.
While the author is serious as a heart attack I think it is hilarious.
I reckon it's something to do with all the cat hair instead of sucking it up in the vacuum!
But wait... when I looked up the book cover to show you... it also showed some of the projects. I've never understood how to felt but this book shows you how to do it with cat hair for sure.
If there is a fuzzy cat on my Christmas cards next year you will know where it came from!
HERE is a link to more pictures. Wow... the things these creative people come up with are amazing!
Because dogs need campers too. I love the dog inside the camper looking out.
I've felt this way for the last two years about our camper. So glad we are finally putting it to use... even though it gets really dirty and muddy from four wheeling!
There is a local country radio station out of Lebanon, TN that I can pick up most of the time. When I am on my way to work at six o'clock they play the whole "get up... get out of bed" musical montage. It's pretty long and has funny tunes and things like that. Towards the end they play the following clip and it makes me laugh so hard.
I am going to set it as my ringtone for when I have to set my alarm on my phone. Sometimes I could use a good laugh to wake me up.
My niece Lacey sent this to me on facebook... during naptime at the day care yesterday.
Needless to say I woke up two children laughing.
The second time I watched it I held a towel to my face and wasn't quite so loud.
Just a funny for those thrift shoppers out there like us.
There now... is that appropriate?
Sorry... sometimes smart ass comments just pop into my head that only I understand.
But it feels better to get them out.
Have a wonderful weekend!
It's been ages and ages since I've dressed up for Halloween it seems. I've had a one piece denim jumpsuit on back up for years now and a black wig so I could go as Cher but it never seems to pan out. One of these days the dang thing isn't going to fit anymore. Here are a few funny last minute costumes that I found here and there... just incase.
This is the little girl from Finding Nemo that was in the dentist office. Too funny!
These made me laugh out loud.
Shaun would get many spices in one of my bras!!
I guess this is the crazy cat lady?
These were all found through Yahoo image search. Sorry I didn't research the actual original source to give credit but I don't have that kind of time. Please don't sue me.
Well.. since it's Sunday, and Halloween is approaching, and you're probably just sittin around doing nothing anyway like I hopefully am... I thought I'd share some seasonal stuff with you! Yay! Have a good day!
I should not have found the following link to some of the funniest pictures on earth during naptime. The kids might have gotten to sleep a lot sooner without me snickering in the kitchen with a dish towel over my mouth for a buffer. These are pictures of people's reactions inside the world's scariest haunted house in Niagra Canada. From the comments on the website I don't think I feel any urge whatsoever to go through it. They used the words "mental and emotional rather than visual experience." No Thanks!! Click the first pic to be directed to the place I found them.
These were my favorites.
She must have a loud scream!
What's this guy laughing at?
They made me LOL.
Here's a story about the Stanley haunted hotel that inspired the movie The Shining.
I personally have never seen that movie. Probably won't. Not a fan of scary movies.
And if you have ever watched the Ellen show you know that she loves to scare people.
Here's a short video that had me laughing... especially at the Taylor Swift scare!
It's amazing what you can do with a string of lights and a can of Great Stuff!
And don't forget to include a bit of magic for the kiddos this Halloween! Remember our "Magic Pumpkin Seeds" from last year at the day care? To be magically transported to the DC Halloween post click HERE.
I have two words for this book... cleverly hysterical. I loved it! It has the best crafts. I have actually rented this book twice from the library. The first time I kept calling Mary Evelyn to tell her funny stuff that I had read. And the pictures are fantastic. This book will get your creative juices flowing as well as have you rolling in the floor laughing. My most favorite part was the stretching before and after crafting. Good grief I haven't laughed like that in a while! But seriously, the crafts are well thought out and most are really easy to do by yourself with kids out of what you have... if you don't mind them playing with tampons and matches that is.
